I know it's not much to look at, but hey, it was within my budget.
The worst part is the drive line. Some hack decided to put a 302 with an automatic in it. He must have been limited to just a few tools. Probably a torch, a dull chisel and a BFH. Also he must have been working on a hillside because the engine lists to port a few degrees. Maybe he was an old Dodge man and he was going for the slanted engine look. He pretty much ruined the frame by hacking out a cross member and welding some really nasty looking stuff in to mount the engine.
Here are two pictures of a second '53 I have just acquired. I will post more on it when I get it home and dig into it.
