The only change they are planning on is the name plates on their desk. They really are planning on four to eight more years of the same old thing.
Any garden variety idiot with enough sense to pound sand in a hole could see through the true objectives of the McCain-Palin agenda. They have no plan for changing anything. They like things the way they are and they want to continue that way. McCain has sided with Bush over 90% of the time which is public record. Sarah Palin is nothing more that a choice made in a feeble attempt to draw off the women vote that had supported Hillary Clinton. She is an absolute zero when it comes to qualifications. She stands for everything every woman has fought against in the past years since women finally got the right to vote. McCain spent all of fifteen minutes interviewing her by his own admission. Check it out, it's a matter of record. When she was asked if we would be going to war with Russia, she said, "Perhaps so." What kind of idiotic answer is that??? The record shows that she is little more that an ignorant figure head and lackey for the oil companies.
As for McCain, sometimes it's really hard to tell what he stands for. Either he is an absent minded bungling old fool or else he is a liar. On last Monday he claimed to be a long time supporter of de-regulation. Now, since the economic collapse of several major companies that we the tax payer are bailing out, he is suddenly a proponent of regulation. He claims he can't remember how many houses he has. Is that really a good indication of a qualified man to run for President? I think not.

THE SAME OLD LINE
Last night we got to see Sarah Palin at what was probably the best she could ever hope for. I have to admit she did better at the debate than I thought she would. The problem is that she brought nothing to the debate. Just like John McCain, she brought the same old party line as ammunition for her debate. She just doesn't get it. The same old crap we have been taking from the Bush administration for the past eight years is just not going to get it. Where is this change they keep talking about???
With only 33 days to go before the election, we've got to inform the public—and especially the women Sarah Palin panders to—about where she really stands.
And the truth is, on women's health issues, she's way out of the mainstream. When she was mayor of Wasilla, women who were raped literally had to pay up to $1200 out of their own pockets for the exams used to prosecute their attackers.
The polling showed that when people watched it, their opinions of John McCain shifted dramatically. In the test, people were polled before and after they'd been exposed to the ad. After seeing it, they were a whopping 16 percentage points more likely to feel like McCain had poor judgment and 7 percentage points more likely to think he wasn't sensitive to the views of women.
Here's what a few people in the poll said about McCain after seeing the ad:
"He is against helping women with these awful unsolicited traumas and then leaves them with bills...""He doesn't share my same values and it is wrong to charge rape victims for exams."
"The fact that he has so little compassion for a woman who has been raped that he would make her pay for her exam and not allow her to have an abortion if needed."
As you can see, this ad really affects people who see it. And it provides critical information about important health issues facing women and their families.

Tonight is supposed to be the first Presidential candidate debate. In an eleventh hour move of desperation, McCain is trying to wiggle out of the debate on the grounds that the current financial crisis presented by the pending bail out takes precedence. This is the flimsiest excuse I have ever heard. Debate or not, it will make no difference. Congress and the president will arrive at some agreement no matter what the problems are, whether there is or is not a debate tonight. The real truth is that he is scared to death to face Obama in a debate. All his excuses are just pure BS. I fully expect that Palin will come up with some equally absurd reason to debate Biden when the time comes.

It appears that the constantly ringing alarm bell has finally gotten the attention of John McCain. Now the Great De-regulator who constantly voted to remove the restraints of regulation form the financial sector has decided there is a need for regulation. Here again he has demonstrated that he is just another Bush Clone. Now that the animals have all escaped from the barn, McCain has decided to fix the barn door that has been tossed out into the field and rotting for eight years. After all, someday, maybe in another ten years, we might be able to afford more animals.
Maybe Sarah Palin was not such a good idea after all. Now that the real truth about Palin is getting out, McCain is already distancing himself from her. he is not talking about her and he is not campaigning with her. One can only wonder what he will do when she has to face the first debate with Biden which is sure to be a disaster for her. That one is going to have the spin doctors working overtime.
