A wireless Wide Area internet sharing plan can be financed, operated and managed by an independent entity such as Starscan Systems or any other company that provides this kind of service. If a system is operated in such a manner it is necessary for the operator to establish first year contracts with subscribers to cover the initial set up costs of the system. The equipment required for the subscriber end is either rented to, or paid for out front by the subscriber. In some cases am an installation fee is required. All these provisions are usually covered by a contract between the subscribers and the service and system provider. Such contracts provide for many details of required service and responsibilities of the subscribers.
