WHAT IS AN ASSOCIATE ?
What is a PVP Media Associate? Perhaps it would be better to know what a PVP Media Associate is not. Our associates are not employees. If you are striving to make your artistic talents you main vocation the last thing you need is the hassle of a job. You probably already have a job so that you can support yourself and quite possibly a family. If you are one of the few who are fortunate enough to be able to devote all your time to your artistic endeavors you know better than anybody that you don't want to be an employee. Our associates are people we commission to do a given task. We set only a few requirements toward that end. We do not expect an associate to spend a set amount of time on a project. When a project is assigned to an associate we ask only to deliver the project in a reasonable amount of time that would be mutually agreed upon when the project is given to the associate. Given any mitigating circumstances that deadline will usually be amended. The fee for an associate's services is mutually agreed upon before a project is awarded. Often that fee is adjusted if an associate has to do more work than is originally agreed upon. All fees are paid when the project is paid for by our client. All rights of ownership are retained by the associate until such time that the fee for the work is paid to the associate. As a part of the agreement between the David G. Boley, dba, PVP Media Associates and any given associate, all rights of ownership of an associate's work product and license to distribute the same, become the exclusive property of David G. Boley, dba, PVP Media Associates. Title and name of work product will always be credited to the associate who creates the work product. This is a situation that develops recognition for the associate who created the work product paid for by PVP Media Associates. PVP Media also reserves the right to sell the above mentioned rights to clients who commission our work.
